Urge Rescue · Always free

A calmer next step when a craving hits

Urge Rescue helps you slow the moment down, reconnect with your reason and record what triggered the urge. It is a brief self-help flow—not a lecture or a locked premium feature.

How it works

A short flow for an intense moment

Name what is happening. Record the urge intensity and the situation or trigger you noticed.
Reconnect with your progress. Bring your reason, current streak and personal wins back into view.
Give the urge time. Follow grounding prompts and a hold timer before deciding what to do next.
Keep the lesson. Save what happened and what helped so recurring patterns become clearer.

A craving is information, not a verdict

Urges can be connected to routines, places, emotions, social situations or physical dependence. Recording one does not mean you have failed. Over time, a consistent log can help you see when preparation, distance from a trigger or support from another person may be useful.

What Urge Rescue can and cannot do

Bommi provides general grounding and self-management tools. It does not assess medical risk, replace professional care or provide an emergency response. If you may be at risk from withdrawal, contact a qualified clinician. If you are in immediate danger or feel unable to stay safe, contact local emergency services or a trusted crisis resource now.

Optional AI-assisted Rescue sends the details needed to generate a response through Bommi's Firebase function to OpenAI. You can use the standard Rescue flow without choosing AI assistance. See exactly how connected features are handled in the privacy policy.

Prepare before the next urge

  • Write down the reason you want to change while it feels clear.
  • Identify one person or service you can contact.
  • Choose a simple replacement action that is available in your usual trigger setting.
  • Keep the Bommi widget or app within easy reach if seeing progress helps you pause.
